    ANDVSA Pro Bono Program Staff Attorney

    Administrative Assistant II:
    Full-time, Non-Exempt
    Range 7 ($30,225 – $39,448)

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Supervised by Project Director of Training

    • Directly assist Training Project Director with administrative duties, including office operations, answering phones, copying, filing, responding to information and referral requests.
    • Assist other Project Directors with administrative duties as needed.
    • Assist staff with conference coordination –making arrangements for conferences, including meeting space; airfare, lodging and per diem for participants and speakers; catering; a/v requirements; handouts.
    • Respond to requests for technical assistance to ANDVSA member programs and community allies by disseminating training resources, manuals, brochures, educational materials and newsletters, etc.
    • Actively support ANDVSA efforts to provide resources to diverse communities.
    • Maintain calendar for Training Project Director, seek training venue bids and provide clerical assistance to help Project Directors coordinate events.
    • Maintain database of project reports evaluation compilations and needs assessments records of participants; provide certificates for participants who complete training for Training Project Director.
    • Stay abreast of current literature on domestic violence and sexual assault.
    • Participate in agency staff meetings.
    • Assist with compiling training manuals and materials for all projects.
    • Compile and disseminate informational packets.
    • Assist staff with large/bulk mailings and usage of FedEx/DHL.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications
    Relevant education and experience.  Good clerical, computer and interpersonal skills. Reception skills required. Flexibility and organizational skills are required. Must be able to meet deadlines, set boundaries and work independently.

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

    • Familiarity with domestic violence and sexual assault issues
    • Commitment to addressing program training needs
    • Energetic, comfortable and effective in small, fast-paced office setting
    • Familiarity with scanner, postage meter, copy machine and other office equipment
    • Experience with WORD, POWERPOINT and EXCEL most important; ACCESS databases, desktop publishing, web content production, a plus
    • Ability to work cooperatively in a positive team environment
    • Good spelling and grammar, detail-oriented
    • Ability to work independently
