ANDVSA and UAS have been working together to create an online training resource, through Blackboard, Understanding Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
Ariel Herman, Training Project Coordinator at ANDVSA, is the instructor for the course. ANDVSA Member Program cost: $55.00 per student. Non-Members: $75.00 per student.

This is not a college-credit course, however, students will be provided a UAS certificate of completion upon finishing and passing the course. CEU’s are available.

AWARE is offering a 40-hour Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Education and Advocacy Training February 1st through February 14th.
The Advocacy Training takes place over two weeks.
Upon completion of this course, participants will have a firm understanding of the dynamics and prevalence of domestic violence and sexual assault in our communities, an overview of AWARE’s intervention and prevention services, and the importance of community coordination in addressing domestic and sexual violence. Participants will also understand AWARE’s mission, philosophy, and values.

Thursday 2/4 from 5:30-8:30pm
Saturday 2/6 from 9:00 am-4:30 pm
Sunday 2/7 from 9:30 am-4:30 pm
Monday 2/8 from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm
Thursday 2/11 from 5:30 pm–8:30 pm
Saturday 2/13 from 9:00 am-5:00 pm
Sunday 2/14 from 9:30 am-2:30 pm

You will speak with one of ANDVSA’s pro bono program’s volunteer attorneys.
