Upcoming Technical Assistance Projects

The Training project is slated to provide training and/or technical assistance for the following Network Programs for this winter:

1. February 19-21, 2008 AWIC/Barrow
2. February 25-29, 2008 AVV
3. Dates TBD: SPHH, Miniilaq, and LeeShore

The Training Project will partner with the following Network Programs to provide training at the State Tribal Forums.

1. May 15-16, 2008 Fairbanks
2. May 29-30, 2008 AWARE, WISH, SAFE Juneau
3. June 9-10, 2008 Maniilaz, Kotzebue
4. September 25-26, 2008 AWIC

Sart Training 2008 is tentatively scheduled for May in Unalaska

ANJC Conference - The Training Project has been invited to partner on this conference and is currently in the planning stages.

DOL Conference - The Training Project will provide training on Substance Abuse and DV/SA for the Paralegals at this conference in Sitka.

OWH Training - ANDVSA will do 4 teleconferences and one training in Homer, AK, the week of March 10, 2008.

Other Fabulous Training Department Projects

The Real Tools Series - The Spanish version and Real Tools Two should both be completed in January.

The Counsil, AST, and ANDVSA have a draft training video for law enforcement to illustrate women's safety needs etc. We begin editing in the the summer.
