CLE – Legal Training
Join us for the 19th Annual Continuing Legal Education training: Litigating Family Law Cases Involving Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault. Volunteer attorneys can attend the training for free!
This legal training gives Alaskan attorneys the opportunity to gain skills in order to represent clients who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The training, lodging, travel and per diem are all offered completely free for those attorneys who commit to donate a minimum of 20 hours over a 12 month period. This CLE offers information to attorneys about domestic violence and sexual assault in family law cases. Attorneys, judges, court staff, and legal advocates are encouraged to attend. The CLE is presented in cooperation with the Alaska Bar Association.
When: Monday and Tuesday, February 20 – 21, 2017 from 9am-5pm
