Standing Together Against Rape (STAR)


Anchorage-based Standing Together Against Rape (STAR) is the ANDVSA member-program solely focused on sexual assault response and prevention. The program's Executive Director is Nancy Haag.  The mission of Standing Together Against Rape, Inc., (STAR) is to provide the best quality of crisis intervention, education and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault, sexual abuse,  their families and our community. STAR offers a wide variety of services statewide. If you are a victim of sexual assault, incest or child sexual abuse, if you have a friend or family member who is a victim, or if you have questions regarding sexual violence,  please call STAR's 24-hour Crisis and Information Line for information and support:
