The Training Project will partner with the following Network Programs to provide training at the State Tribal Forums.
ANJC Conference - The Training Project has been invited to partner on this conference and is currently in the planning stages.
DOL Conference - The Training Project will provide training on Substance Abuse and DV/SA for the Paralegals at this conference in Sitka.
OWH Training - ANDVSA will do 4 teleconferences and one training in Homer, AK, the week of March 10, 2008.

The Counsil, AST, and ANDVSA have a draft training video for law enforcement to illustrate women's safety needs etc. We begin editing in the the summer.
What is the ANDVSA Training Project?
The Training Projects seeks to provide training and technical assistance to advocates providing community education and advocacy for people impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault in Alaska. The Training Project also serves as a resource for advocates. Our office had bookes, videos, manuals, and other training materials to help advocates educate others.
The ANDVSA training project consists of five main areas of opportunities for advocates and programs.
- training, technical assistance, and resource development
- staff exchange program
- villiage participation on shelter boards
- written audio and visual materials for underreached populations
- technical planning program
